Biography
Scarlett Noel Pomers was born in Riverside, CA on November 28, 1988. She was named after the Gone With the Wind heroine.
Scarlett was discovered in an Orange Country mall by an agent who told Scarlett's mother that Scarlett should get into acting. Scarlett's first role was in Michael Jackson's music video "Heal the World."
Scarlett ‘s film debut was as Suzie Barrett in the movie based off the popular book series, "The Babysitters Club." Her second film was children's comedy "Slappy and the Stinkers." Scarlett won Young Artist Awards for both performances. Scarlett has also appeared in “Happy, Texas”, “Baby Geniuses”, and “Children of a Laughing God”.
Scarlett's breakthrough role on "Star Trek: Voyager" began in November 1998, and has appeared in sixteen episodes. Scarlett has also traveled the country appearing at conventions.
Scarlett’s music career also began in 1998 when she had a few friends formed the pop music group “Spiral”. Through the years, Scarlett has also starred in other major TV shows, like "Touched by An Angel", “Seven Days” “Martial Law” and “Judging Amy” and her recent recurring role as Abigail Leski in "That's Life". This fall, Scarlett will star as Reba McEntire's daughter, Kyra, in the WB comedy series "Reba". She will also star as Suzy in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Ring of Endless Light" in November 2001.
The future looks bright for this twelve-year-old Sagittarius.
